This was no day to go shopping; yet it had to be done regardless of zero temps, wind and snow outside.
So ... a snowy safari began!
First, two feet of snow encasing the car must be cleared with scraper & brush.
The result?
Car's clear. but hands nearly frozen.
Next, turn on the ignition and pray it'll start after -9 temp of last night.
Incredibly, the motor roars into action!
All this, when I could have stayed inside. There's plenty of willing delivery service available in this small town by business folks who struggle for existence.
I could easily have asked for help.
So, why not do that?
Good reason! Being cooped up inside without fresh air and exercise is just plain depressing and bad for your health!
Most folks feel much better after a dose of fresh air, exercise, and the satisfaction of conquering a challenge.
