With adult children hundreds or thousands of miles away from each other and their parents, why wouldn't it be a good idea to set up a family blogging site?
Even the grandkids have computer savvy and could join in an exchange of the latest home news.
Sure, we email individual family members; but a family site could be the next best thing to a family reunion with everyone sharing what's going on in their lives at any given moment.
I clearly recall when, as a child, we enjoyed face to face family reunions year round with aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters, brothers, parents and grandparents sharing the latest events of their lives no matter what they were - good, bad or just plain ordinary. They all lived nearby; so we could.
Perhaps there are families who have ongoing cyberspace reunions. I don't know.
But in today's world, it seems like a great idea.
