 HOW TO CONQUER WORRY -

1. "Live in day-tight compartments. Don't stew about the future, just live each day until bedtime." quote from Dale Carnegie book on 'How to stop worrying."
2. "Ask yourself,
a. 'What is the worst thing that can happen if I can't solve my problem'?"
b. "Prepare yourself to accept the worst if necessary."
c. Then calmly work to improve upon the worst which you have already mentally agreed to accept".
3. "Remind yourself the exorbitant price you can pay for worry in terms of your health. 'Those who do not know how to fight worry, die young.'" (all of the above from Dale Carnegie's book.)

 HOT TOPIC -

While many bloggers enjoy writing diary-type posts to express their feelings or describe a day or so of their lives, others search for topics with enough interest to draw as many as possible readers to their blog.
A blogger on another site found that one particular topic surpassed all others when it comes to reader attention.
That post was about the keys to long life.
Actually, this is not at all surprising. Most people I know want to live as long as they can so they don't miss anything.
Why then, is it that so many folks self-destruct along the way?!

 OLD FAMILY PHOTOS -

Thanks to Denimgirl's post, I was reminded of one old photo in particular.
It's of my mother with her students standing outside the one-room rural school-house where she taught in the early 1900s.
Most one-room schools are history now; but at that time many elementary school children attended a one-room school where the teacher taught all grades.
This system somewhat resembles a Montessori school of more recent years. Although the schools are larger, students in various grades often study closer to each other, rather than in separate rooms.
One reason this is done is to encourage, stimulate and aid learning among slower students.
This also helps rapid learners to advance without the restriction of a classroom confined to one grade level.

HOW EASY IS IT FOR YOU TO MAKE DECISIONS ?

We each make decisions every day, which has not gone unnoticed by Internet search engines.
Google, for example has 26, 950, 168 listings on the subject of 'decisions' including sites with guidance on how to make them.
Frankly, I'd rather make decisions on my own. rather than have an outsider tell me how to do it.
